Goat Antibodies for Mouse Immunoglobulin Detection
GAMG80 is a goat-derived secondary antibody raised against intact mouse immunoglobulins and purified by immunoaffinity chromatography to deliver specific, consistent binding across the heavy and light chains of mouse IgG in standard immunoassay formats.
It binds mouse IgM and IgG immunoglobulins via epitopes distributed across both heavy and light chains, providing broad immunoglobulin coverage in western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry. In western blotting applications, GAMG80 resolves the mouse primary antibody signal cleanly at the expected concentration range without the artifact bands that partially purified secondary antibody preparations introduce at higher loading amounts.
Primary antibodies raised in mice represent a substantial portion of available monoclonal research antibodies. A secondary with full H+L light chains coverage ensures detection across all IgG subclasses without subclass-specific titer gaps. GAMG80 is pre-adsorbed against horseradish peroxidase carrier proteins and cross-reactive species to minimize background in complex tissue matrices.
For human-target detection running alongside mouse primaries, goat anti-human IgG Fc provides Fc-restricted secondary coverage without cross-reactivity with mouse immunoglobulins. For rabbit-primary channels in the same multiplex panel, goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L and goat anti-rat complete the species-matched secondary antibody coverage. Research use only.
