Goat Anti-Rabbit Antibodies Recognizing Heavy and Light Chains
GARG80 is a goat-derived secondary antibody purified by affinity chromatography against intact rabbit immunoglobulins to deliver consistent detection across the heavy and light chains of rabbit IgG in standard immunoassay formats.
It binds most rabbit immunoglobulins through epitopes distributed across the intact molecule, making it the broadest-coverage anti-rabbit secondary antibody for western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. In western blot applications, GARG80 resolves rabbit polyclonal primary antibody signal cleanly across the molecular weight range of immunoglobulin G without the band artifacts that partially purified secondaries introduce.
Primary antibodies raised in rabbit represent the majority of commercially available research antibodies, which is why a reliable anti-rabbit secondary antibody with full H+L coverage is a foundational reagent rather than a specialty item. GARG80 is pre-adsorbed against mouse IgG and cross-reactive species to minimize background in multiplex systems where both rabbit and mouse primaries are running simultaneously.
Goat anti-mouse provides parallel secondary coverage for mouse-derived primary antibodies in the same panel.
