Equitech-Bio's
purified immunoglobulin (Ig) preparations are isolated
from pooled normal serum by a proprietary chemical
fractionation method. The immunoglobulin preparations
are supplied as a lyophilized powder but may be
supplied as a liquid upon request. Purity levels
are 97% Ig as analyzed by SDS-Page. These preparations
are especially useful as co-precipitant in RIA
methods employing polyethylene glycol or ammonium
sulfate precipitation steps as a protein stabilizer
in a number of other immunoassays. Immunoglobulin
preparations reconstitute to pH 7.2 ± 0.2.
Gamma globulin preparations are also available
upon request.
Equitech-Bio's polyclonal antisera are high-titer preparations developed using
controlled goat herds as host species. They are
offered as chain specific whole molecule and can
also be provided as a gamma globulin fraction.
